Chetan Bhagat was asked who he likes among Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Rajinikanth. He said that since he has met Shahrukh Khan personally, he will name him. Chetan said that Shahrukh Khan is great as a human being. He said that I have been to Shahrukh’s house, I have not done any film with him. But I have gone to meet him in connection with work. I have worked with many actors but Shahrukh is the only one who came to my car to see me off.

He further said that I had taken my mother to the shooting of one of his films. He had seen that my mother was old. After the shot was over, he saw my mother standing and no one had thought of this but he came to us and he picked up a chair and gave it to my mother to sit. So Shahrukh Khan is such a person. That is why I am taking his name.

Will write a book on politics

Further, Chetan Bhagan told what he likes between cricket, Bollywood and politics. He said that for me politics is the best. I like to watch that. I cannot watch much sports. You can get inspired by a player in 10 minutes. This fanaticism that you keep doing is stupid. Politics is very difficult. I like that. Between the election results and the World Cup, I will watch the election results. I like that.

During the session, Chetan Bhagat also answered questions from the audience. He was asked if he would ever write a book on things like the rape and murder of a female doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College? To this, Chetan said that I myself don’t know. Nobody knows what is happening there. There are many problems in the country. I will definitely write such a story. But I mostly write things that I can resonate with. I don’t think I will be able to write on the story of a person. But I will definitely write something about politics and society.

Apart from this, Chetan Bhagat talked about success. He was asked what advice he would give to his fans for success. Chetan said that it is very important to live a life of purpose and discipline. Writing a book is the most difficult for me. Discipline is very important. Just keep at it. And do everything with discipline.
