Britain’s Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, revealed on Monday that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment and plans to maintain a light schedule for public engagements for the rest of the year. “Remaining cancer-free is my top priority now,” Kate Middleton said in a video message, nearly six months after she revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer, sparking widespread speculation about her health.

He said, “The last nine months have been incredibly difficult for our family. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable, especially for those closest to you. It is humbling, it makes you face your own vulnerabilities in ways you never thought possible before, and with it comes a new perspective on every aspect of life.” Kate was last seen at the Wimbledon men’s final at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London in July.

In today’s video, Kate expressed her gratitude to all those who have supported her and her family and said that “although I have completed chemotherapy, my journey to full recovery is a long one. However, I look forward to returning to work and attending some more public events in the coming months when possible.” Kate, the wife of Prince William and heir to the throne, also said that she has entered a new stage of her recovery with renewed hope and appreciation for life.

“William and I are extremely grateful for the outpouring of support and we have drawn enormous strength from everyone who has supported us during this difficult time. The kindness, empathy and compassion of everyone has been truly humbling,” the 42-year-old princess said, adding: “To everyone who is continuing their cancer journey – I am with you, shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand. Even out of darkness, light can come, so let that light shine.”
