Hackers compromised the newsroom account of ChatGPT maker OpenAI and shared a link to a website. The purpose of the hacker is to commit cryptocurrency fraud. They want to rob people of their hard-earned money with its help.
The hacker posted on the OpenAI Newsroom account created on the X platform that OpenAI announced a new crypto token named $OPENAI. It has since been told that OpenAI users can take advantage of it.
Fake OpenAI website is ready
The hacker’s tweet also shared a link that, when clicked, will open a website similar to the OpenAI website. Its URL is also similar to OpenAI. However, the company did not disclose whether anyone has fallen victim to the scam.
