In Faridabad, Haryana, 12th class student Aryan Mishra was shot dead on suspicion of cow smuggling. In this case, the police have arrested five accused including the main accused Anil Kaushik. It has been revealed about Kaushik that he often used to chase vehicles at night to show off his muscle power.

Anil Kaushik (38) often used to chase vehicles in this manner at night to show his connections with the police and establish his dominance in his area. Kaushik, along with his four friends, had similarly chased Aryan Mishra’s car for 25 kilometres and later shot him, suspecting him to be a cow smuggler.

But now many people are raising the question that why did he chase vehicles for such a long distance on the basis of mere suspicion? It is being said that such chasing on national highways and village roads is normal for the members of Kaushik’s organization Live for Nation. Kaushik had registered this organization eight years ago.

India Today’s Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) team has reviewed the video of the incident, which shows that Anil Kaushik often chased trucks, mini trucks, jeeps and cars at night to nab cow smugglers.

In a video posted on Kaushik’s YouTube channel three years ago, his team claims that he rammed his car into another vehicle at a speed of 120 kmph at night. Similarly, he chased a vehicle for 60 km between Agra and Mathura.

Anil Kaushik has also posted pictures with cow smuggler Monu Manesar on his social media. Manesar is accused of killing two Muslims last year. Kaushik, along with the police, also started several operations against cow smuggling. Kaushik has posted pictures of this on his social media.

What is the whole matter?

In Faridabad, Haryana, Aryan Mishra had gone out for dinner with his friends Harshit and Shanky. During interrogation, the accused Anil Kaushik, Varun, Krishna, Adesh and Saurabh revealed that on the night of August 23, they received information that some suspected cow smugglers in two SUVs were prowling the city. The accused mistook student Aryan Mishra and his friends Shanky and Harshit for cow smugglers and chased their car for several kilometres near the Gadpuri toll on the Delhi-Agra national highway.

The accused told police that when Aryan was asked to stop the car, he increased the speed of the car, following which they shot at him near Gadpuri toll in Palwal, killing Aryan, a class 12 student, on the spot.

Let us tell you that Harshit was driving the Duster, Aryan was sitting next to him in the front seat. Shanky and two ladies were sitting in the back. After driving for about 25 kilometers, Harshit broke a barrier at the toll plaza and moved ahead. Then the attackers started firing at the car, in which a bullet pierced the rear window and hit Aryan. After the initial shot, Harshit stopped the car, but the attackers shot another bullet in Aryan’s chest, due to which he died on the spot.

Meanwhile, all the five accused have been sent to judicial custody after being produced in a city court. The police have also recovered their illegal weapons and the car used in the crime.
