Explosion occurs at rapper Badshah’s club
Chandigarh’s Sector 26 was plunged into chaos after explosions occurred near two nightclubs in the early hours of Tuesday. Singer and rapper Badshah is the owner of Seivelle Bar & Lounge, one of the two nightclubs in Chandigarh that were hit by crude bombs. According to sources, two unidentified cyclists carried out the blasts using domestically produced bombs. After the explosion, panic spread in the area. The nightclub’s windows were also broken during the incident.
Fortunately, there was no news of anyone being injured in the explosion. Chandigarh Police is taking the blast seriously and has called the forensic team and is investigating the matter. Police are investigating all aspects to ascertain the motive behind the explosion. Police also found some thin jute rope at the spot. It is understood that two explosions occurred around 3.15pm, with the second occurring around 4am.
Explosions were carried out to spread panic
According to Chandigarh police sources, an attempt was made to detonate a homemade bomb using potassium fertilizer used in firecrackers outside a Chandigarh nightclub. Police said the nightclub was closed when the explosion occurred. In this case, it was believed that these explosions were simply intended to spread terror. Preliminary investigations suggest racketeering may be behind the bombings, spreading panic among nightclub owners.
The accused may be arrested soon
Police also started checking CCTV footage installed nearby to nab the attackers. She’s questioning people, too. In this case, the accused is expected to be arrested soon.
