The final results of CG Police SI are out: Chhattisgarh Police has announced the results of the Subedar/Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander (SI) recruitment examination. Candidates who appeared for the interviews held in August-September can now check their results by visiting the official website of Chhattisgarh Police, cgpolice.gov.in. After a lapse of 6 years, the results of the deputy inspector recruitment examination have been released.
In 2018, applications were invited for 975 vacancies through the Chhattisgarh Police SI recruitment drive. The exam will be held in 2021, and a total of 1,436 candidates were interviewed from August to September last year (2024). After the selection results, 959 candidates for SI positions were finally selected. Even after such a lengthy recruitment process, 16 positions remain vacant.
In the process, 58 Subedar posts were filled, 577 Sub-Inspector posts were filled, 69 SI (Special Branch) posts were filled, 247 Platoon Commander posts were filled, 6 vacant SU (Assigned) posts were filled . 02 Posts, 01 Posts, 03 Sub-Inspector Vacancies (Related Documents), 05 Posts, 06 SI (Computer) Vacancies, 01 Posts, 09 SI (Radio) Vacancies.
Apart from this, the post of Subedar (women) in the Scheduled Tribe category has been lying vacant as per the Chhattisgarh High Court order.
