The CBI has taken major action in the case of rape and murder of a female trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. The central investigation agency has arrested the former principal of the medical college, Sandeep Ghosh, and SHO Abhijit Mandal of Kolkata Police. Earlier, Dr. Sandeep Ghosh was arrested in a case of financial fraud and corruption. Now the CBI has arrested Dr. Sandeep Ghosh in the case of rape and murder of a trainee doctor. Along with Ghosh, the CBI has also arrested SHO Abhijit Mandal. According to the information, delay in FIR and missing of evidence is the reason for the arrest.
