People will do anything to get views and become famous on YouTube. A YouTuber from Parvatipuram Manyam district in Andhra Pradesh uploaded such a video, for which he had to be jailed. Police have arrested a YouTuber and one of his colleagues on charges of killing a rare wild animal. The two defendants first captured Jankar and then murdered him. The matter involves Bandidoravlasa in the area. Nageshwar Rao, a young man here, runs a YouTube channel. He worked as a junior electrical switchman in the power department. He created a YouTube channel in the past few days. Manyam district is a tribal area, so he produced and uploaded various videos on topics such as crops and agriculture in tribal areas. Officials in his department banned him from managing the channel while at work.
Catch, cook and eat animals
YouTube user Nageshwar saw a Komodo dragon in the forest in the area. He caught him along with his friend Nani Babu. They killed him. They then took photos and made videos with his body. He then decided to cook it and upload it to YouTube. They cut it into pieces, season it with salt, pepper and spices, and eat it. He recorded the entire process on his phone and uploaded the video to his YouTube channel.
Indian Left Behind Animals Foundation Complaint
The video went viral and reached the Animal Retention Foundation of India. Members of the organization immediately complained to Parvathipuram Manyam district officials about the incident. After receiving the complaint, forest department officials took Nageshwar Rao and Nani Babu into custody and interrogated them. He admitted killing the animal, cooking the curry and uploading it to YouTube. Therefore, a case was registered against them both under the Wildlife Protection Act and legal action was taken.
In this case, forest department officials said that although both defendants were educated youths, their behavior was deplorable. They are asked to raise awareness about the law and protect wildlife. He warned of strict action if the forest department violates the law and attacks wild animals.
