The police recovered a huge amount of cash from the bus stand area of Hingoli city in Maharashtra. The incident happened on Wednesday night. Based on this information, a team from Hingoli Crime Branch conducted a check near the bus stop. During this period, cash worth approximately Rs 1 crore (Rs 40 lakh) was recovered from two different vehicles.
It is understood the action took place as two vehicles drove towards Karamanuri. The police became suspicious of them. After police searched the two vehicles, they seized a large amount of cash and detained two people inside.
Currently, Xingoli police are interrogating two detainees to find out the source and purpose of this huge sum of money.

The possibility that the case is related to the election cannot be ruled out, so the police are also investigating from this angle. Police said this was an important operation given the upcoming elections. This money could have been used in some way to influence the election.
The amount was withdrawn without any documentation. Police are investigating the source and purpose of the money. In addition to this, information is being gathered about other possible contacts in this case and other persons involved.
