Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has announced that as an alternative to the unexpected suspension of lounge services by Dreamfolks Services, lounges at Adani-operated airports now accept all major debit and credit cards from alternative access providers, news agency ANI reported on Sunday, September 22.
“As a temporary alternative, lounges at Adani-operated airports now accept all major debit and credit cards from alternative access providers,” a spokesperson for Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL) said, according to the news agency.
Lounge access at Indian airports was disrupted due to an unexpected suspension of lounge operations by lounge access provider Dreamfolks Services Ltd. The provider, which had partnered with several banks, breached its service agreement and the issue affected airports across the country.
According to reports, a spokesperson for Adani Airport Holdings said: “Passengers at airports across India are experiencing issues with lounge access. This is due to an unexpected suspension of services by Dreamfolks Services Ltd, a lounge services provider in partnership with several banks, in violation of their service agreements with the affected airports. AAHL is actively working with the banks to facilitate immediate restoration of services.”
The spokesperson also stressed that services through the Dreamfolks provider have not been restored despite the company’s service request, the agency reported.
“We are committed to fully supporting passengers during this period,” a spokesperson for Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL) was quoted in news reports as saying.
