What’s going on?

The UP government has recruited 69,000 teachers. Its examination was held in January 2019. After the exam, work will be arranged for the candidates according to the deadline. The cutoff for General is 67.11% and for OBC is 66.73%.

In fact, teacher candidates said that the recruitment of 19,000 seats was a scam and while stating their stance, they claimed that OBC was supposed to get 27% reservation in this recruitment, but in fact only 3.86% were booked. Similarly, the SC category was supposed to get 21% bookings but actually got only 16.6% bookings.

Complaints have been filed in the High Court and the State Commission for Backwardness in this matter. The High Court ordered the list to be redrawn. The Supreme Court upheld the Supreme Court’s decision and scheduled a hearing on the matter.

Students claim that OBC quota is 27% and only 3.86% have been reserved. SC quota is 21% and 16.6 candidates got jobs.
