Heavy rains in South India have disrupted people’s lives. There is waterlogging on the roads, along with this railway tracks have been damaged at many stations. Due to which the routes of trains passing through many routes have been changed while many trains have been completely cancelled. South Central Railway has posted to passengers on X that many trains have been cancelled due to flood water accumulation on both up and down main lines.
List of canceled trains
South Central Railway has advised that Rayanapadu station has been suspended due to flood water on both up and down main line. Track and some trains have either been cancelled or diverted to run on alternate routes. Due to this, train no. 12433 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express leaving today 06.09.2024 at 06.05 am is completely cancelled.
Similarly, train no. 12269 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Nizamuddin Duronto Express scheduled to depart today 6th September 2024 at 06.35 hrs has been diverted to run on alternate route and will not stop at any stoppage between Vijayawada and Nagpur.

1. Train No. 06806 Palakkad Town-Coimbatore EMU 09 will depart from Palakkad Town on 11th September, 2024 at 07.20 am and Podanur will be the last stoppage. The train will be partially cancelled between Podanur and Coimbatore.
2. Train No. 06009 Mettupalayam – Podanur MEMU will depart from Mettupalayam on 08, 09, 11 September, 2024 at 08.20 hrs and Coimbatore North will be the last stoppage. The train will be partially cancelled between Coimbatore North and Podanur.
3. Train No. 06801 Erode Coimbatore MEMU will depart from Coimbatore on 08, 09, 11 September, 2024 at 07.50 am and Irugur will be the last stoppage. The train will be partially cancelled between Irugur and Coimbatore.
4. Train No. 06813 Mettupalayam – Coimbatore MEMU will depart from Mettupalayam on 09th September, 2024 at 10.55 hrs and Coimbatore North will be the last stoppage. The train will be partially cancelled between Coimbatore North and Coimbatore.
5. Train No. 06458 Shoranur Coimbatore Passenger Special will depart from Shoranur on 11th September, 2024 at 08.20 hrs and will be short terminated at Podanur. The train will be partially cancelled between Podanur and Coimbatore.
6. Train No. 16722 Madurai-Coimbatore Express will depart from Madurai on 11th September, 2024 at 07.00 am with Podanur being the last stoppage. The train will be partially cancelled between Podanur and Coimbatore.

3. Train No. 06814 Coimbatore Mettupalayam MEMU will depart from Coimbatore on 09th September, 2024 at 11.50 am and will start from Coimbatore North at 11.57 am. The train will be partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Coimbatore North.
4. Train No. 16608 Coimbatore Kannur MEMU Express will depart from Coimbatore on 11th September, 2024 at 13.50 hrs and will start from Podanur at 14.03 hrs. The train will be partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Podanur.

2. Train number 22504 Dibrugarh Kanyakumari Vivek Express will depart. On 05, 06, 08 September, 2024 at 19.55 hrs Dibrugarh will be run via Coimbatore via Irugur and Podanur. 3. Train No. 13352 Alappuzha – Dhanbad Express will leave Alappuzha on 08, 09, 11 September, 2024 at 06.00 am and will run via Coimbatore via Podanur and Irugur. There will be an additional stoppage at Podanur for the convenience of passengers.
4. Train No. 12626 New Delhi Thiruvananthapuram Central Kerala Express will depart from New Delhi at 20.10 hrs on 06, 07, 09 September, 2024 via Irugur and Podanur. For the convenience of passengers, there will be a halt at Coimbatore, additional stoppage at Podanur.
5. Train No. 12678 Ernakulam – KSR Bengaluru Express will depart from Ernakulam on 06, 08, 11 September, 2024 at 09.10 am and will run via Podanur and Irugur, skipping the stoppage at Coimbatore. There will be an additional stoppage at Podanur for the convenience of passengers.
6. Train No. 06819 Erode – Palakkad Town EMU will depart from Erode on 08, 09, 11 September, 2024 at 07.15 am and will run via Irugur and Podanur. The train will not stop at Singanallur, Peelamedu, Coimbatore North and Coimbatore.
7. Train No. 22644 Patna-Ernakulam Express will depart from Patna on 06 September, 2024 at 14.00 hrs and will run via Coimbatore via Irugur and Podanur. There will be an additional stoppage at Podanur for the convenience of passengers.
8. Train No. 12508 Silchar-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express is departing from Silchar on 05th September, 2024 at 19.50 hrs and will run via Coimbatore via Irugur and Podanur. There will be an additional stoppage at Podanur for the convenience of passengers.
9. Train No. 12433 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express leaving today 06.09.2024 at 06.05 hrs is completely cancelled.
