In Aligarh, UP, post office superintendent TP Singh committed suicide by shooting himself. He was posted in Bulandshahr main post office. CBI raided the post office yesterday (20 August) evening on charges of corruption. It is being said that he was very upset with this action. In the suicide note, he wrote that some employees were pressuring him for wrong deeds, harassing him, so I am committing suicide.
Let us tell you that during the raid that lasted for about 10 hours in the post office, the CBI took all the documents with them. Post Office Superintendent TP Singh (Tribhuvan Prasad Singh) was also questioned till 4 am. A few hours after this action, TP Singh came to his home in Aligarh and committed suicide. Before this, he had posted a suicide note on the post office’s WhatsApp group, which is now going viral.
The deceased had written this suicide note on his letterhead addressed to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Aligarh. In this suicide note, he has blamed many people in the office for his death. It is alleged that these people were pressuring him to do irregular work with the intention of harassing him. At present, the police has taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Along with this, the investigation of the case has started.
It is being told that TP Singh was the superintendent at the main post office of Bulandshahr since December 2021. A retired employee had complained to the department’s head quarter accusing the postal superintendent of demanding bribe in exchange for approving the travel allowance bill. On which the CBI team came to the post office for investigation last Tuesday. TP Singh was under stress since then.
After questioning by the officials, Chief Superintendent Post Office TP Singh reached his residence in Aligarh and committed suicide with his licensed rifle on Wednesday morning. It is being told that at the time of the incident, there was no one else in the house except TP Singh. His wife is a teacher, who had left for school in the morning.
