BSNL has many recharge plans where users can enjoy unlimited voice calls, data and other benefits. Due to these cheap plans, the government telecom operator has added many subscribers to private telecom operators Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea. In July, all three private companies raised the price of mobile plans, causing the companies to lose more than 10 million subscribers. Today, BSNL is not only offering cheap recharge plans but is also improving its network coverage.
BSNL’s 4G network
The government telecom company recently installed 50,000 new 4G mobile towers across the country, with more than 41,000 towers already operational. Meanwhile, the company plans to install 50,000 new mobile towers in the coming months. BSNL will commercialize 4G network across the country in June next year. Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently confirmed the news.
Cheap plan at Rs 999
This cheap recharge plan from BSNL is priced at Rs.999. In this plan, users are valid for 200 days. In this prepaid recharge plan, users get the benefit of unlimited voice calling. Users can make free calls on any network across the country. However, users do not get the benefit of free data in this recharge plan. This recharge plan of BSNL is specially targeted at those users who only use their BSNL number for making calls.
However, BSNL also has a cheaper Rs 997 recharge plan that gives users unlimited free calls on any network across the country. In this plan, users can get the benefit of 2GB high-speed data per day. In addition, this plan also provides the benefit of 100 free text messages per day. In this plan of BSNL, the validity period for users is 160 days. This plan is especially suitable for smartphone users who need data and calls. Private telecom companies Jio, Airtel and Vodafone did not have any users getting recharge plans with 200 days validity.
