BSNL has launched a new service to watch more than 500 HD TV channels for free without a set-top box.

BSNL recently launched IFTV, the country’s first fiber optic broadband-based digital television service, in Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The government telecom company has now launched this service in Punjab as well. For this, BSNL has partnered with Skypro. BSNL broadband internet users will be able to watch more than 500 live TV channels for free. The company claims that all these TV channels will be broadcast to users in HD quality. Additionally, users will have free access to over 20 OTT applications.

Skypro is an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service provider that has partnerships with several Internet broadband service providers. BSNL Chief Managing Director Robert Ravi has launched this service for the Punjab telecom circle. First, the service is being provided to 8,000 BSNL Bharat fiber broadband users in Chandigarh. Thereafter, broadband users in Punjab will benefit from this service. Not only this, BSNL will soon launch this service for viewers across the country.

Watch channels without a set-top box

In this streaming service of Skypro, users will be able to watch almost all TV channels from Star, Sony, Zee and Colors for free. Apart from this, you can also access more than 20 leading OTT platforms such as SonyLIV, Zee5, Disney+ Hotstar. What’s special about this service is that users can watch all live TV channels without any set-top box. Users must install the Skypro app on their smart TVs. Users can access these TV channels once connected to BSNL Broadband.

BSNL 4G reaches first village in the country

BSNL has launched 4G services in Pin Valley, Himachal Pradesh, the first village in the country. The Department of Telecommunications provides this information through its X handle. 4G services are available even in areas of the country where there is currently no mobile network. After the launch of 4G services, people in Pinggu village in Himachal Pradesh will be able to easily connect with the world through the Internet.
