BSNL has been providing 4G mobile network services to Bihar users over the past few months using equipment based on indigenous technology. Now, the company has provided significant relief to tens of millions of customers living in the state. The government telecom company has set up 2,000 4G towers in Bihar. This means that BSNL users will now get high-speed connectivity.
BSNL boosts 4G speeds
Let us tell you that in July, Jio, Airtel and Vi significantly increased the prices of their recharge plans. However, BSNL still offers recharge plans at the old prices. That’s why thousands of people are leaving Jio, Airtel and Vi and heading to BSNL for cheap plans. In order to increase its user base, the company has stepped up its efforts to stabilize the national 4G network.
200 villages in Bihar get 4G access
There are around 200 villages in Bihar that do not have mobile connectivity and BSNL has also extended its 4G services to these villages. These villages in Bihar are spread across Rohtas, Kaimur, Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, Munger and Jamui districts. A total of 74 mobile towers provide 4G services in villages in these areas. After the commissioning of the new tower, every district in Bihar is now connected to the 4G network.
Let us tell you that BSNL users have been having network connectivity issues but now BSNL is making a thorough attempt to resolve this issue. The company recently established 10,000 4G sites across the country. This comes as a relief to BSNL’s crores of customers.
