Today is a big day for the Indian auto sector. Today on the occasion of Independence Day, Ola’s first electric motorcycle Roadster has been launched in the market with the new Mahindra Thar Rocks. Now a new British brand Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) has also entered the Indian market today. Starting its journey on Indian roads, BSA today officially launched its first motorcycle Gold Star 650.
Classic Legends, which has already introduced Jawa and Yezdi in the Indian market, has also launched BSA in India. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, the starting price of the new Gold Star 650 has been fixed at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Coming with retro-modern design, this bike will compete directly with Royal Enfield’s Shotgun. Whose price starts from Rs 3.59 lakh.
How is Gold Star 650:
The company has given modern classic design and features to BSA Gold Star. Presented with round headlight, curvy fender and lots of chrome, this bike has a semi-digital instrument cluster. USB charging port is also being provided in this bike to charge the smartphone. This motorcycle is available for sale in many different colors, the prices of which are also different.

Power and Performance:
In this bike, the company has used a 652 cc capacity 4-valve, DOHC single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. Which generates power of 45bhp and torque of 55Nm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. BSA claims that this engine has been tuned in such a way that this bike is capable of running at a speed of 160 km/h.
Based on the cradle frame, this bike has telescopic fork suspension at the front and twin shock absorber at the rear. It gets tube type tires with wire spoke wheels. Disc brakes are available in both its wheels which are equipped with dual channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). This bike is available for sale at the company’s authorized dealerships and its booking has been started.
