When the matter reached the police, the police went to arrest the accused. During this, he opened fire on the police. In self-defense, the police also fired back, due to which the accused got shot in the leg. The police have arrested him.
In Barabanki’s Banki area, accused Vijay raped a 9-year-old girl in a house and fled. When the family saw the girl in a bloody condition, they took her to the hospital. In this case, the girl’s mother complained to the police. The police registered a case and started searching for the accused and caught him.

ASP Chiranjeevi Nath Sinha said that a case was registered against Vijay alias Golu under the POCSO Act in Kotwali Nagar. He was arrested and taken to Deva Overbridge to recover the shirt. During this, the accused fired at the police with a pistol hidden in the bushes.
When the police team fired in self-defense, the accused Vijay got shot in his left leg, due to which he got injured. The injured Vijay alias Golu was sent to the hospital. 1 pistol 315 bore with 1 empty cartridge and 1 live cartridge were recovered from his possession. This accused had raped a minor girl.
