Prince George, a member of the British royal family, turned eleven on Monday and to celebrate this special day, the Kensington Palace released a new photo of the young prince.
In a post on X, the Kensington Palace shared a black and white photograph of the young prince, where he is seen wearing a white shirt paired with a dark-colored blazer, taken by his mother, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton along side a message that said: “Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!”
Prince George, the grandson of King Charles, made his most recent public appearance on July 14, where he joined his father, Prince William, to witness England’s soccer team compete in the European championship final held in Berlin.
The English side was defeated by Spain in the match.
The British royal family has faced a challenging year, with both the Princess of Wales and the king undergoing cancer treatment. Despite their health struggles, they have managed to attend various events in recent weeks, demonstrating their resilience and commitment to their duties.
Earlier this year in the month of May, Prince Williams and Princess Kate Middleton shared a picture of their daughter Princess Charlotte to celebrate her ninth birthday. The photograph was also taken the by Princess of Wales, showing Charlotte, the couple’s second child, smiling happily in the garden of their home in Windsor.
Sharing a post on X, the couple had said, “Happy 9th Birthday, Princess Charlotte! Thank you for all of the kind messages today.”
Kensington Palace has established a tradition of releasing photographs taken by Kate to commemorate birthdays and other family events.
