Today is the second day of the BRICS leaders’ meeting in Kazan, Russia. Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also hold bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping today. The two leaders will hold this formal meeting in about five years. After the conflict in the Galwan Valley in 2020, the differences between the two countries deepened. The meeting comes amid the resolution of the dispute between India and China over the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh over the past four years.
