Bomb on plane rumored to have exploded after fight with friends, minor arrested in Chhattisgarh

Mumbai police on Wednesday detained a minor from Chhattisgarh, accused of issuing false bomb threats to various airlines. Police said they had received complaints of bomb threats on some flights to Mumbai. The threats were made through a number of social media posts.

Upon investigation, it was found that the post was made by a minor from Chhattisgarh. Accordingly, the police detained the minor and handed him over to the Juvenile Justice Board after notifying his parents.

I had an argument with a friend over money.

Preliminary investigation revealed that there was a financial dispute between the minor and his friend. As a result of the dispute, the minor made threatening posts on social media using photos of friends. Three FIRs have been registered on different matters.

The police are currently investigating whether this case is related to other recent false bomb threats. Nearly a dozen Indian flights, both domestic and international, have received false bomb threats in the past three days.

Strengthen airport security

The incident attracted the attention of security agencies and the airport tightened security measures. The incident raised concerns about safety and passenger safety. Police are currently trying to find out whether the minor’s threats were intended to defame his friends or if there were other reasons behind them.

Planes threatened after dispute with Canada

Recently, more than a dozen Air India planes received bomb threats after relations between India and Canada deteriorated. Subsequently, planes flying in the air also hurriedly landed at a nearby airport. It’s unclear who was behind the incident, but police are investigating.
