Bloody clash between neighbors over drain dispute, young man shot in the chest

In Shahjahanpur, there was a bloody clash between neighbours over a drain dispute. During this, bullets were fired. A young man fell victim to one of the bullets and died. The family of the deceased youth has alleged that the people of the accused party have injured half a dozen members of the family by beating them with sticks.

There is a tense situation in the village since the incident. At present, several police teams are present at the spot to control the situation. The incident took place in Babupur village of Banda police station area. According to the family members of the deceased, Mukesh Shukla, a resident of the same village, had a dispute with his neighbor Bagesh Dixit 20 days ago over the construction of a drain.

After this, the matter went to the police. It is alleged that the police did not take any concrete action in the matter. A sub-inspector got both of them to settle the matter in the village itself. After this, on Tuesday, when Bagesh Dixit was getting his drain constructed, Mukesh Shukla arrived there with 15 to 20 people. After this, Bagesh was attacked with guns and sticks.

Meanwhile, Mukesh Shukla shot Bagesh in the chest with a pistol. Not only this, the attackers also injured half a dozen people of Bagesh’s family by beating them with sticks and attacking them with spears. After the incident, panic spread in the entire village. Everyone was rushed to the community health center. There the doctor declared Bagesh Dixit dead.

After this incident of firing and attack, there was a stir in the police department. Police from three police stations reached the spot. Police say that further action will be taken on the basis of the complaint received in the case. At present, the murderers are said to be absconding after the incident.
