BJP will adopt ‘Haryana model’ in Uttar Pradesh by-elections, has formulated this special plan

After winning in Haryana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has now formulated a strategy to focus on the OBC vote bank for the Uttar Pradesh by-elections. The way the party won the support of OBC voters in the Haryana elections, it has now decided to implement the same model in UP as well. Accordingly, the BJP’s Backward Class Morcha will soon launch a separate campaign in the state.

In Haryana, the BJP received a large number of OBC votes mainly due to the change of chief minister and nomination of new faces before the elections. Shortly before the elections, the party appointed Naib Singh Saini from the OBC community to replace Manohar Lal Khattar as chief minister. The impact of this change is clearly visible in the results. Now, in the Uttar Pradesh by-elections, the BJP will adopt the same strategy and try to connect OBC voters with itself.

More than 50% of the voters in Uttar Pradesh are from the OBC community. In this case, the Backward Classes Front of the BJP will go all out to reach out to these voters aggressively. Through this organization, a message will be sent to the OBC class that the BJP is with them and will not let their reservations or rights be affected.

According to party sources, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP held discussions on the issue for three days in Uttar Pradesh recently. It is hereby decided that every possible effort will be made to reduce the perception among the OBC community that their rights will be compromised. RSS publicity chief Sunil Ambekar is said to have played an important role in the campaign.

In an interview with India Today, Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Alok Awasthi said that in Haryana, the party participated in the elections with all 36 castes, resulting in a crushing defeat for the Congress party. “The public’s support will be with us as we lead the way into the upcoming elections,” he said.
