Jammu, Sept 18: Jammu and Kashmir BJP interim president Paul Sharma on Wednesday suspended the membership of three senior party leaders for indiscipline in contesting elections against the party’s official candidates.
The suspension was based on the recommendations of the party’s disciplinary committee headed by lawyer Sunil Sethi.
The suspended MLAs include Pawan Khajuria, who contested as an independent from Udhampur East district, Balwan Singh, who contested as an independent from Udhampur East district and Narinder Singh Bhau, who contested as an independent from Chhambu district.
