Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh today emphasized that the BJP government at the center has opened new doors of development in Kalakote. He made these remarks while interacting with media persons on the sidelines of an event organized by the BJP, where the party’s candidate Thakur Randhir Singh filed nomination papers from the constituency.
Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that leaders from other political parties have ruled the area for a long time and even held ministerial positions, but failed to deliver any tangible results on the ground. However, he added that in the last 10 years under BJP rule, significant changes have taken place, with roads being constructed and issues faced by coal mine workers being addressed.
The Union Minister further highlighted that the BJP has fulfilled the aspirations of the masses in this remote region, which is evident from the fact that MP Jugal Kishore Sharma has won three consecutive terms. Dr. Jitendra Singh expressed his best wishes to BJP candidate Thakur Randhir Singh and expressed confidence that he will emerge victorious in the assembly segment, as people from all walks of life are standing alongside him.
The BJP is contesting the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections on a development agenda, and the party is confident of emerging as the strongest political force in the region. The party has released its first list of candidates, which includes several prominent names from the Jammu region.
