A member of the Lok Sabha from Karnataka, who was interacting with media persons after holding a series of public meetings in support of the party’s candidates in different parts of Jammu, said the BJP has neither the capacity nor the involvement to do so in Jammu and Competition to form government in Kashmir.

Citing a parliamentary panel’s report, he said, “The Parliamentary Standing Committee reported that 1.35 million youths are exposed to drug menace in J&K.” He asked the BJP to have a clear roadmap to deal with the crisis.
“The BJP is indulging in empty rhetoric, or ‘Jumlabazi’. They are attacking opposition leaders and their families instead of facing the facts,” he said.
“Despite the BJP’s promise of Rs 2 crore per annum in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, it has failed to create jobs. Outsiders are getting lucrative contracts while locals are being left behind,” he explain.
Reacting to some of the recent scams exposed in J&K, Nasir Hussain said the Governor’s House has become a center of corruption with scandals such as the Jal Jeevan mission scam, recruitment scam, mining scam, sand scam and liquor scam. He claimed that Congress would investigate the scandals and ensure that locals received the contracts.
“The education sector in J&K is on the brink of collapse with enrollment plummeting.
