There is news of a stampede in the Siddheshwar temple of Jehanabad-Makhdumpur in Bihar. Seven people have died in this stampede while many people have been injured.
Since it was Monday of Sawan, a large number of devotees had gathered for the puja. There were long queues of devotees in the temple. Jehanabad DM Alankrita Pandey says that we are keeping an eye on the situation and currently the situation is under control.
