In Bihar’s Besusarai district, an SSB Jawan and his wife died during a collision between a tractor trolley, a Bolero and a truck. Sonu Kumar was going to his in-laws’ house in Bahadur Nagar on his bike with his wife Mausam. On the way, they stopped to fill air in the bike, and after the collision, the truck overturned and fell on them. Both died on the spot. The husband and wife were cremated late on Friday evening. During this, the funeral salute was given under the leadership of SSB Assistant Sub-Inspector Manmohan Singh who came from Jamui.
It is being told that as soon as the bodies of Sonu and his wife reached the village, the entire atmosphere became gloomy. Sonu got a job in the year 2021 while studying and had a love marriage in 2023. The people of the in-laws’ side were very excited about the arrival of the daughter and son-in-law. But the in-laws did not know that they would get the news of Sonu and Mausam’s death. Sonu was the youngest of two brothers and a sister.

After the incident, mother Kanchan Devi, father Chandrashekhar Singh and all the family members are crying inconsolably. It is being told that Mausam was four months pregnant. One accident turned the happiness of the entire family into mourning.
The funeral procession of the husband and wife was carried out with full respect
The funeral procession of the deceased soldier and his wife was carried out with full respect and they were cremated at Lal Darwaza Ganga Ghat. Sonu was walking with the deceased police jawan all the way chanting Amar Rahe, Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Everyone’s eyes were moist during the funeral procession. The couple was cremated on one pyre.
