In Purnia, Bihar, a girl committed suicide by hanging herself in a hotel room. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body, sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case. The deceased was preparing for competitive exams while staying in the girls hostel. The girl took this step after being cheated in love.
According to the information, the girl was friends with a shopkeeper who copied photos. After studying for a few days in Purnia, Nisha got herself admitted in GNM College, Patna and went there for studies. During this time, her lover Raj Kumar also went to Patna and kept meeting Nisha and both of them used to talk on the phone for hours. Physical relations had also developed between the two many times.

It is being told that when their families came to know about their love, Nisha’s family proposed marriage to Raj Kumar’s father. But Raj Kumar’s father demanded Rs 20 lakh in dowry. After which cracks started appearing in their relationship also.

After this, her lover Raj Kumar also refused to marry Nisha. Hurt by this, Nisha committed suicide by hanging herself in the hotel room. Police found a suicide note from the spot in which she wrote that my lover Keval Raj is responsible for my death, brother, father, please forgive me. Apart from this I had no choice. I have become quite infamous. The boy and his family did not leave me anywhere.
