In Begusarai, Bihar, the health department played a big joke with Mangal Pandey, health minister of the government of Bihar. At Sadar Hospital, doctors personally put a surgical hood on the head and asked Health Minister Mangal Pandey to put on shoe covers on the feet. A picture of Mangal Pandey covering her head with shoe covers is now going viral.
Health Minister Mangal Pandey himself posted the photo on “X” but he didn’t know that the hood the doctor put on him was a head surgical mask and the cover on his head was a shoe cover. In the viral photo, a doctor and two nurses can be seen wearing surgical hoods on their heads near a separator at Sadar Hospital.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Mangal Pandey stood with shoe covers on his head and feet. During this time, Bihar government sports minister Surendra Mehta, DM Tushar Singla, civil surgeon Dr Pramod Kumar Singh were present but did not wear surgical hoods. In fact, Mangal Pandey had arrived in Begusarai on Sunday on a one-day visit where he inspected Saddar Hospital and launched a separator machine, besides about half a dozen projects.
