Bihar Youth Utsav concluded that the Deputy Minister announced the construction of Atal Kala Bhavan.
The 2024 State Level Youth Festival held in Lahisarai concluded on Monday. During the two-day event, youth from 38 districts of Bihar showcased their art and culture. The plan puts the region at the center of a statewide discussion. In fact, the scheme was launched by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha and Suryagarha MLA Prahlad Yadav.
During the ceremony, the Vidyapeeth art team of Lakhisarai welcomed everyone with their speeches. Besides, Daya Nidhan Pandey, Secretary, Ministry of Arts and Culture congratulated the youth and thanked the district administration for hosting the event successfully. At the end of the Youth Utsav, an award ceremony was organized at Gandhi Maidan.
Awarded a medal
The deputy director awarded medals to the players who won first, second and third place in the competition. During the competition, young people showed off their skills in folk singing, story creation, sculpture, science exhibitions and other forms.
Promote culture – Deputy Minister
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that concrete steps are being taken to promote art and culture in Bihar. He announced the establishment of Atal Kala Bhavan in all districts and provided school level training. MLA Prahlad Yadav, on the other hand, spoke about the importance of art and culture for the new generation.

In the competition, Priya Ranjan Kumari (Lakhisarai) won first place in solo folk dance, while Samrat Sameer from Patna won in story writing. Ankita Kumari of Kaimur won first place in painting. Anand Kumar Singh of Saran emerged as the winner of the sculpture competition for the project. Also, Ujjwal Kumar of Arwal district and his team won first place in the science exhibition. The program provides a platform to the talent of many young people of Bihar and the rich culture of the state, making the event memorable.
