Strong leader and former MLA Anant Singh has got a big relief from Patna High Court. The High Court has acquitted him in the AK-47 case. He has been acquitted due to lack of evidence.
The civil court had sentenced him in this case. This has cleared the way for him to get out of jail. Earlier he was given parole in the month of May. He came out on parole for 15 days. A few years ago, he was sentenced to 10 years in jail by a Patna court in a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Let us tell you that Anant Singh had become MLA from Mokama for the fourth consecutive time but was disqualified after being convicted.
