A teacher brutally assaulted a student at a private school in Bengaluru. The student’s teeth were broken during the beating. The student got his clothes wet while playing in the water at St Christ’s English School. After the student’s family complained, the teacher also reported the incident to the police. The teacher said a number of allegations had been made over the fee dispute. After receiving a complaint from the teacher, the police started investigating the matter.
The family members of the students said that this was not the first time that their children had been beaten. Prior to this, his 6-year-old daughter was also brutally beaten. His hand was swollen for a week. He said he asked the school director many questions at the time. He said he should apologize and we should write a letter of apology.
The school denies the allegations
Holy Christ English School manager Arpit VL denied the allegations. He supported the teacher, saying the student’s teeth were not broken because of the teacher’s beating. When he was asked why school management allowed beating of children, he said why are we being asked all these questions. If a student does something wrong, we do not support it and it is our responsibility to dissuade the student.
