”We have been walking on foot for 2 years, leaving our home and family. We are able to do this work because a woman like you is our wife. She is a doctor and has left her medical practice and taken the responsibility of the family. She has told you to go and do whatever you want to do in Bihar, we will take the responsibility of the family. Today we have called our wife to introduce you.” Election strategist Prashant Kishor said this while introducing his wife Dr. Jahnavi Das to the women.

Prashant Kishor invited his wife for the first time in the ‘Jan Suraj’ Mahila Samvad program organized in Bapu Auditorium of Patna, the capital of Bihar. He said that your brother is able to work because a woman is taking care of the family from behind. Similarly, men in ‘Jan Suraj’ are also able to work because women like you are standing behind them. When you are carrying our burden, it is our duty to ensure that you get more than your rights. It is because of your support that men are able to do something good.

‘Jan Suraj’ party will contest elections on 243 assembly seats

Kishore said, I have already said that Jan Suraj will contest 243 assembly seats in Bihar in 2025. The party will field women candidates in at least 40 assembly seats. When Jan Suraj government is formed in Bihar in 2025, women who want to start their own business will be given financial assistance by the government at a very nominal rate, which will be even less than the current interest rate charged by Jeevika Didi.
