In fact, within 14 months, more than half a dozen murders took place in the area and these murders were committed in the same pattern. Due to this there was an atmosphere of panic in the town. The police were also desperately searching for the murderer. Recently, sketches of the suspected killers were also released. The murderer was caught within 48 hours.

It is being told that the name of the accused who committed serial killing of 9 women is Kuldeep Gangwar. Kuldeep started hating women due to his family reasons. In this anger, he was planning to kill other women also. At present, during police interrogation he has confessed to committing 6 murders.
It is noteworthy that there was a stir due to serial murders in Thana Shahi area of Bareilly district. During the last 14 months, 9 women were murdered. All the murders took place in an area of 20 to 25 km and the pattern of all was the same. Dead bodies of middle-aged women were lying in the field and their jewelery was missing. Recently, the police had released sketches of 3 suspects. While releasing the numbers, an appeal was also made to provide their information immediately.
While revealing the incident as serial killing, SSP Anurag Arya said that the accused Kuldeep Gangwar is a resident of Nawabganj police station area. Kuldeep has been arrested in connection with some murders that took place in the area. There is frustration in the mind of the accused regarding women. If she protested, he would strangle her to death with a saree. The accused has confessed to 6 incidents. At present, investigation is going on.

It is known that the age of the women who were murdered was between 45 to 55 years. The pattern of everyone’s death remained the same and all the women belonged to rural areas. She was found dead in a deserted area near her farm or house. Everyone died by strangulation.
