Bareilly: What happened that the thieves themselves called the police? They said- Sir, save me or else I will be killed

Last night in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, villagers surrounded three thieves in a sugarcane field and beat them up. Meanwhile, a thief dialled 112 and called the police. The thief said, “Sir, please save us, otherwise these people will kill us.” The police somehow saved the thieves from the crowd and took them to the police station. Currently, the police of Bhamora police station have registered a complaint and started further investigation.

Actually, last night in Gausganj, the villagers surrounded the thieves who came to steal. It is being told that when the lives of the thieves were in danger, one of the thieves called on dial 112 and pleaded for help. On getting the information, PRV constables reached the spot. By then the villagers had beaten up the thieves badly.

It is being told that in this entire incident, seeing the crowd of villagers, the policemen informed the Aliganj police station. The police force reached there and somehow rescued the thieves from the crowd of villagers. During this, a policeman also got beaten up. All the three thieves are said to be from another district. Bhamora police has caught all the three thieves and is interrogating them.

According to the information, more than half a dozen buffaloes were stolen from many houses in the area. Ramsevak Pal’s buffaloes were stolen last night in Gausganj village of Bhamora area. When Ramsevak woke up at around 1 o’clock in the night, he was shocked to see that the buffaloes were missing. He immediately woke up the villagers and started searching with sticks.

Meanwhile, some sounds were coming from the sugarcane field, on which the villagers surrounded the field. Seeing themselves surrounded, the thieves called on dial 112 and informed the police station. On receiving the information, Aliganj police along with Bhamora police also reached the spot. By then the angry villagers caught two thieves and beat them up.

Later, the Bhamora police reached the spot and took both the thieves to the police station. After some time, another thief was caught. Two buffaloes were recovered from the field, which are said to be stolen. Meanwhile, the policemen also got injured after getting entangled in the barbed wire. The villagers also raised slogans, expressing their displeasure over the delay in the arrival of the Bhamora police.
