The two parties had a dispute over the Anjuman procession to eliminate Balavafat in Bareilly. One party did not allow the Anjuman procession and accused the other party of starting a new tradition, after which the other party started raising slogans on the road at night. On receiving information about the incident, the police immediately rushed to the spot and deployed heavy police force.

Police said that there was a dispute between the two parties over the banning of the Anjuman procession in Balawafat. One party banned the Anjuman procession as a new tradition, while the other party objected and did not allow the procession to go ahead. After this, people from another community started rioting, raising slogans against a certain political party.

After that, when another community demanded to take out the Yatra through a new route, the police refused to give them permission. Let us tell you that there had been riots in the same area during the Kawar Yatra last year.
