A strange case of theft has come to light in Delhi. Here Delhi Police arrested a woman and her daughter last week. They are accused of stealing another person’s jewellery from a bank locker. All this happened due to the mistake of a bank employee. Police said that the matter is being investigated.

In fact, in the FIR lodged on September 5, a person named Yashpal said that he has an account in Punjab National Bank located in Jangpura for about 20 years. He also has a locker. He told that ‘For the last few days I was going to the bank to open the locker but there was some problem with its lock… On September 4, the locker incharge called me to the bank and said that a Godrej representative would also come so that the lock could be opened. Yashpal said that there were documents of registrations along with gold jewellery in my locker.
When the locker opened…
Pal said that when the locker was opened, he was shocked. All his precious jewellery was missing. He questioned the bank manager about this. The bank manager told that on July 10, two women named Shashi and Ashi Ramani had given the necessary documents to open the locker.

A senior bank official said that Shashi and her daughter Ashi also have a locker in the same bank. Recently, they had come to the bank. When they asked for the key of their locker, the bank employee gave them the wrong key. Police officer said that when they opened the locker, they saw precious jewellery in it. After this, they stole the items and gave the keys back to the bank employee. Police officials say that the bank employees are also being questioned, who have claimed that this happened by mistake.
