Bangladesh tour of India 2024: This Bangladeshi bowler bowls at a speed of 150 plus, told the game plan against Rohit Brigade

Bangladesh Nahid Rana: Bangladesh’s young fast bowler Nahid Rana is now eyeing the series against India. Nahid played an important role in the historic 2-0 victory in the Test series against Pakistan. The first Test of the series against India will be played in Chennai from September 19, where the pitch is expected to be bouncy.

21-year-old fast bowler Nahir Rana is capable of bowling at a consistent speed of 150 kmph. He made headlines by taking 4 wickets for 44 runs in the second Test match against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. Nahir has taken 11 wickets in 3 Test matches so far.

Bangladesh Cricket has shared a video on ‘X’, in which Rana said, “Of course we are well prepared for the series against India. We have started practicing. The more we practice, the more we will be ready for the match.”

He said, ‘India’s team is very good, but the team that plays well will win.’

Nahid made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in March this year and in this match, he caught people’s attention by bowling at a speed of more than 150 kmph. He also performed impressively against Pakistan.

Nahid said, ‘Before going on the Pakistan tour, I had said that I want to achieve something for my country and I am happy that I lived up to what was expected of me.’

When Nahid was asked if he is ready to bowl at the speed of 152 kmph again, he said, ‘I am committed to do my best. You cannot always predict the speed. It depends on the rhythm.’

He said, ‘I have not set any pace. I just try to follow the team’s strategy. My friends and people of my village are really very happy with my performance.’

Rana said, ‘I do not want to be like anyone and want to create my own identity. I want to create my identity as Nahid Rana of Bangladesh. I do not follow any particular bowler. I have learned something from everyone.’
