Measures have also been taken for their safety and welfare. India has continuously highlighted the situation of Pakistan’s minorities in international forums.
The government takes these incidents seriously
The minister said there were zero cases of violence against Hindus and other minorities in neighboring countries except Pakistan and Bangladesh. Someone asked about the number of cases of violence against Hindus and other minorities in neighboring countries in the past three years.
In his reply, the federal minister also said that the government takes these incidents seriously. Our concerns have been shared with Bangladesh. India hopes Bangladesh will take necessary measures to ensure the safety of Hindus and other minorities.
The High Commission is paying close attention to the matter
Earlier this month, the Foreign Secretary reiterated the same during his visit to Bangladesh on December 9. The foreign minister said the Indian High Commission in Dhaka was monitoring the situation of minorities in Bangladesh. The national government has primary responsibility for the security of all citizens, including ethnic minorities.
