Ballia: The girl was sitting on the train carrying a trolley bag and was stunned when police checked it, which was filled with 750 rounds of ammunition.

In Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, GRP police achieved great success while checking trains at railway stations. The police found a large number of poisoned bullets from the bag of a 20-year-old girl traveling on the Varanasi-Chhapra passenger train. At present, the girl has been arrested after interrogation. Even the police were surprised to find hundreds of rounds of ammunition in the girl’s bag.

In this regard, GRP (Gorakhpur Range) Deputy Superintendent of Police Savi Ratna Gautam said that information was received today (October 23) that a girl from Varanasi -The Chapra passenger train carries a large amount of ammunition. Later, when Ballia GRP inspected the train, they found a girl sitting under the seat with a trolley bag under the seat.

When the girl was asked about the trolley bag, she claimed it was hers. After a search, 750 rounds of ammunition were recovered from it. All cartridges are 315 bore. In this case, after interrogation, the girl was arrested.

According to the GRP deputy superintendent of police, the girl stated during interrogation that she was taking the ammunition to Chhapra in Bihar. He had to give the cartridge to someone in Chapra. The bag filled with cartridges was gifted by a man named Ankit Pandey. Ankit is a resident of Karimudinpur police station in Gazipur district.

The police officer said that the girl has been arrested and appeared in court and legal action is being taken. There is speculation as to whether the cartridges were sold to Naxalites. However, the truth will not be revealed until after investigation.

Earlier on September 28, a total of 825 bullets were recovered at Balia Railway Station and two people were arrested.
