A tragic incident took place in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday morning. Here, during prayer in a private school, the balcony of the building collapsed. 40 children were injured due to this. The condition of four children is said to be more serious. All the children have been admitted to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
According to the information, this incident happened in Avadh Academy in Jahangirabad town. Children reached school here in the morning. Prayer was going on in the school. Some children had climbed the balcony during prayer, at that time suddenly the balcony collapsed and fell down. Dozens of children of the school were injured due to the fall of the balcony.

When the villagers came to know about this incident, they immediately rushed to the spot. A large crowd gathered at the spot. The police was informed about the incident immediately. As soon as the information was received, senior officials including the police reached the spot.
With the help of people, the police took the injured children to the trauma center for treatment, where they are undergoing treatment. The CMO and CMS along with the hospital staff are also taking care of the children. The police is investigating the matter regarding this incident that happened in the school.
Giving information about this matter, Barabanki’s Superintendent of Police Dinesh Singh said that prayers were being held on the school’s balcony. The balcony was weak, which collapsed when the weight fell on it. About 40 children have been injured in the incident, who are being treated in the trauma center.
