The terror of wolves in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh is not stopping. Once again, at 12 midnight on Monday, wolves have made a 5-year-old girl their prey. Despite the deployment of so many officers in Bahraich, the wolf attack has once again put the villagers in panic.

According to the information, this time the wolves targeted Anwar Ali’s 5-year-old daughter Afsana in Girdharpurwa of Gram Panchayat Pandohiya. The girl got injured in this attack, who was sent to CHC (Mahsi) for treatment. The girl was partially injured in the wolf attack. The wolf attacked her neck. After this incident, the people of Mahsi area spent their entire night awake.

There is fear of wolves in more than 35 villages of Bahraich district. Many people have been injured in the attack of man-eaters, while 10 people including 9 children have died. About 25 teams of 5 forest divisions Bahraich, Katarniaghat Wildlife, Shravasti, Gonda and Barabanki are engaged in catching these man-eating wolves in Bahraich.

Most of the wolf attacks have been seen in the Mahsi tehsil area. Therefore, out of 25 teams, 12 teams have been deployed in Mahsi area only. Police along with two companies of PAC jawans have been deployed for security. Now these man-eaters have expanded their range to other areas of the district.

A day before, wolves had targeted a three-year-old innocent. On Sunday night, man-eating wolves entered a village in Hardi police station area. From here, the wolves took away the three-year-old innocent. Narrating the horrific scene of the night, the mother of the deceased girl said that the wolf had grabbed the girl by the throat, she did not even utter a sound.

Big officers are posted in Bahraich

Let us tell you that after CM Yogi, senior officials of the Forest Department have reached Bahraich. On Monday, 10 officers including MD (IFS) Sanjay Kumar of Forest Corporation, Chief Forest Conservator (IFS) HV Girish, two DFOs and 2 Assistant Forest Conservators reached Bahraich, after which the search operation is being conducted under the joint leadership of MD Sanjay Kumar and CCF HV Girish.
