Pakistan captain Babar Azam is currently out. He is said to have been given a break. The Pakistan cricket team is on a tour of Zimbabwe where a three-match ODI series is ongoing. Today is the last game of the series. Pakistan’s new batsman Kamran Ghulam, who is ranked No. 3, scored a brilliant century. Although Babar Azam batted at No. 3 in ODIs, Kamran got his chance in this series. His bat didn’t work in the first two games of the series, but he had an explosive innings in the third game. This may make Azam’s comeback difficult.
Mohammad Rizwan captains Pakistan team
Mohammad Rizwan captained the Pakistan team in the Pakistan vs Zimbabwe series. Pakistan suffered a humiliating defeat by 80 runs in the first game of the series, but the team came back in the next game and defeated Zimbabwe by 10 runs. Pakistan has not achieved such a big win in ODIs for 13 years, but under Mohammad Rizwan’s leadership, it has become possible. This means both teams win one game each and the series is tied. That last game was enough. Because of this, everyone is eyeing it.
Kamran Ghulam scores ODI century off 96 balls
Kamran Ghulam made the diamond in the third match. He was sent to bat at third and he made the most of it. He scored his first ODI century off 96 balls. Kamran Ghulam got a chance to make his Test debut last month, in October. Within a few days, he scored hundreds in Tests and ODIs. Earlier, when Kamran got the opportunity to make his Test debut against England in Rawalpindi, he also scored a brilliant knock of 118 runs.
Kamran can replace Babar Azam
Interestingly, in Tests, he emerged as the No. 4 batsman, who is generally considered to be Babar Azam’s replacement. Even in that match, Babar Azam was not part of the team and Ghulam took advantage of that and after that, something similar seemed to happen here as well, i.e. In ODIs. Talking about the first two games of this series, he only scored 17 points in the first game. He didn’t bat in the second game and now in the third game he did wonders.
