Baba Siddiqui spent his childhood here. He has been involved in parliamentary politics since his student days.

As a result of his involvement in student politics, he became a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and became a minister in 2009. Currently, his son is a member of the Legislative Council. Baba Siddiqui still maintained a loving connection with his homeland, the land of Bhojpuri. He usually comes to the village once a year to meet with the villagers.

On April 1, 2022, he distributed disaster relief funds to poor students of Majha High School. He is fulfilling his mission to provide free computer education to the youth in many districts of Bihar through his Father Abdul Rahim Memorial Trust.
