The UP government has started taking action against Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan, the main accused in the case of rape of a minor girl in Bhadarsa, Ayodhya. On Saturday, a bulldozer ran on Moeed Khan’s bakery and now preparations are being made to demolish a multi-complex which is said to be named after Moeed Khan’s NRI friend.

Amidst all this, Moeed Khan’s family has come forward in his defence. The family says that Moeed is being wrongly implicated because he is a SP leader. According to her family members, the girl and bakery employee Raju Khan already knew each other and Moeed has no role in this.

Demand for DNA test

The family members said that Raju has also told this to the police but there is no hearing. The family members have alleged that the bakery which has been demolished and the multi complex which is being demolished is not in the name of Moeed Khan but in the name of his NRI friend. The women cried and demanded fair action and DNA test.

Fearing bulldozer action, shopkeepers have started vacating the complex containing 70 illegally built shops. One-third of the complex is to be demolished, which also includes the government bank. Notice has been given to all those who have establishments here. Even today a team of the administration can reach other illegal places for measurement.

Government bank also joined JD

Ayodhya’s Additional District Magistrate Anirudh Kumar Singh said, ‘After investigation by the Revenue Department, a notice was given regarding a multi complex, but yesterday they did not demolish it because a bank operated in it. The teams have informed the bank manager and demolition action will be taken when or if they vacate. The accused had encroached on the public pond and built an illegal bakery and boundary.

Meanwhile, the full details of Moeed Khan’s crimes are coming out. He had encroached on government land at many places. This action will continue for now. Yogi government had made it clear after meeting the victim’s family that the accused will not be spared.

Both the leaders included in the BJP delegation will meet the victim’s family and will also talk to the officials. After that the report will be submitted to the BJP top leadership.

politics intensified

On the one hand, if action is taking place, on the other hand there is political turmoil. While the main accused is being linked to Samajwadi MP Akhilesh Prasad, now the Samajwadi Party has also come forward and is seeing a conspiracy in the case. Breaking his silence for the first time, Akhilesh Yadav wrote on social media – Due to this, a path to justice should be found by conducting DNA test of those who have been accused of wrongdoing and not just by making allegations, politics should be done. Whoever is guilty should be given full punishment as per the law, but if the allegations are proved false after DNA test, then the government officials involved should also not be spared. This is the demand of justice.

Victim’s family alleges

The family members of the victim complained about this matter to the police but it is alleged that no action was taken initially. Later, when people of Nishad Party along with Hindu organizations expressed their anger, the police arrested SP’s Bhadarsa city president Moeed Khan and Raju, who worked at his bakery. The victim’s mother told that when we went to the police post with the complaint, the sub-inspector told us to keep Raju’s name but remove the other name. Then after the intervention of the SP, our case was registered. We want death sentence for the accused.
