The first Deepotsav event held at this majestic temple after the illumination of Ram Lala was special in many ways. Not only will the city of Ayodhya be illuminated with millions of lights, Diwali at the majestic temple built at the birthplace of Shri Ram will also be memorable. Relevant preparations are being finalized. This year, while 2.5 to 2.8 million lamps are planned to be lit on the Saryu shore, setting a world record, special types of lamps will also be lit at the Shri Ram temple. To ensure that the temple buildings are protected from stains and soot, special lamps are installed to keep them bright for long periods of time.
The temple will be decorated with beautiful flowers
There is also a special plan to decorate the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple with charming flowers. Responsibility for decoration was assigned to the temple complex, dividing it into several parts and sub-parts. Ashu Shukla, voluntarily retired IG of the Bihar cadre, was entrusted with the responsibility of systematically lighting up every corner of the temple, decorating all entrances with tolans, and cleaning and decorating it. With this, devotees will be able to have holy darshan of the temple decorated with beautiful flowers and lights.
Special lamps also take care of environmental protection
This Lantern Festival also pays special attention to environmental protection. To protect the temple structure from smoke and dust, special wax lamps will be lit inside the temple to minimize carbon emissions. It is thanks to the efforts of the Temple Trust that this Diwali, Ayodhya not only becomes a hub of religion and faith but also carries the message of cleanliness and environmental protection.
You can see the building from the outside until 12 midnight
To make the grandeur of Deepotsav unforgettable for devotees, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has decided to keep the temple open for darshan from outside till 12 midnight from October 29 to November 1. Starting from Gate No. 4B (baggage scanning point), devotees will be able to admire the grand decoration of the temple till midnight. This festival of lights not only carries a message of faith but also of environment and beauty, so Diwali in Ayodhya will hold a special place in the world.
