A case of gang rape of a Dalit girl working as a cleaner in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya has come to light. The police have registered a case against nine accused in this case and arrested five of them. The victim has also made several serious allegations against the Cantt police station.
Giving information about this case, the police said that during investigation it has come to light that on different days when the girl went to meet a young man known to her, then his friend and his companions raped the girl.
Madhuvan Singh, SP City Ayodhya said that this case is of Police Station Cantt and this matter is two weeks old. The victim registered a case in Police Station Cantt on 2 September, in which it came to light that when the victim went to meet her former friend on different dates, her friend and his companions gang-raped her. So far five accused have been arrested in the investigation. The search for others is still on.

The girl has alleged that her friend and his friends gang-raped her several times, made videos and blackmailed her and raped her at different places for several days. A report was filed in this case on September 2, but the police threatened her and her family to stay away from the media.
The victim said that I work at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, after this incident I have lost my job. The victim said that she became friends with a boy, after that they got into a relationship, but the boy suddenly talked to his friends and forced himself on me and when I tried to run away, during this I also got hurt on my head. Due to which I fainted. Those people did bad things to me. When I regained consciousness in the evening, only two boys Vansh Chaudhary and Vinay were there. After this, those people took me from the guest house to a garage, there also they raped me and made a video of me. With which they were blackmailing me.

The girl further said that those people used to blackmail me and call me to them again and again. Due to fear, I did not tell about this to my family and the police. They came to Janmabhoomi again on the 22nd and after that they kept me with them from the 22nd and left me on the night of the 24th. When these people were going to leave me at the Ram temple, an accident happened during which I was also injured.

Apart from this, I was going to submit the application to the women police station on the 28th. Even then these people called me and threatened me and said that what happened to you will happen to your sisters too, it will not be good for your family members either. After this I returned due to fear. After this, on the 31st, when I again went to the women police station with the application, they said that this entire incident is a lie. The application I have written is not correct. They told me that I am wrong and said that those boys cannot do this. I waited till 12:00 pm on 2 September, when I did not receive any call.
Then I went to the SSP office. After that, an order was given from there, then I went to SP City sahab. Then the Mahila Thana and Cantt SHO were called and told to register my case. We were sitting there since 2 o’clock, but the police registered our case at 9 o’clock and my medical was done at 11 o’clock at night. Even after making me sit in the police station for 36 hours, they did not give me the FIR copy.
