AutoNxt X45 Electric Tractor Price and Features: The Indian auto sector is becoming rapidly electrified. The journey of electrification that started from the roads has now reached the fields. AutoNxt has now launched the country’s first electric tractor AutoNxt X45 in the market. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was also present at the launch of this electric tractor. Company CEO Kaustubh Dhonde told Aaj Tak, “The starting price of this electric tractor is Rs 15.00 lakh. However, it does not include the subsidy on electric vehicles. The subsidy will depend on different states, after which its price will be Rs. And it will reduce.”
How is the country’s first electric tractor:
AutoNxt X45 is similar to a conventional tractor in terms of looks and design. Kaustubh Dhonde says that it has been designed for heavy duty which is capable of doing all the work related to agriculture in India. This electric tractor will play an important role in reducing the expenses of farming. In this, the company has given an electric motor of 32 KW capacity which generates maximum power of 45 HP. It has a battery pack with a capacity of 35 KWHr, which can work for 8 hours in a field of about 8 acres on a single charge.
Kaustubh says that during heavy duty its range may be slightly less. But this tractor can work for at least 6 hours on a single charge. With this the company is offering two different charging options. It can be easily charged by connecting it to a domestic socket (15A). With a regular (single phase) charger, it will take approximately 6 hours to fully charge its battery, whereas with a three-phase charger, its battery can be fully charged in just 3 hours. Its loading capacity is 10-15 tons.
Low-Maintenance, Huge Savings:
The company says that, apart from agricultural work, this tractor is suitable for works related to metal manufacturing, cement manufacturing, construction industry, airport, defense and biomass. The most important thing is that it is completely electric, hence huge savings can be made on the money spent on diesel. The company says that its maintenance is also quite economical. Its running cost is very low compared to any diesel tractor. For better performance, this tractor gives high torque and intense acceleration.
Silent Work:
Being an electric tractor it is very peaceful to use. That means it can be easily used in residential areas without any noise. Generally, when diesel tractors are used, their engine makes a lot of noise. But with this tractor you can do your work silently.
How long will the battery last:
This is a big question that comes in the mind of every electric vehicle buyer. According to the information given on the official website of the company, the life cycle of the battery of this electric tractor is 3000. That means its battery can easily last for about 8 to 10 years. However, it also depends on the load, usage and temperature range of the vehicle.
Kaustubh Dhonde told that, this electric tractor is available for sale all over India. Currently we have launched X45, after this two more models (25HP and 60HP) will also be introduced on which work is going on.
