2024-09-24 18:37:59 : Launched in India on Tuesday, the Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 are the company’s latest truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones. The product was previously launched in global markets in January. The wireless headphones come with noise-canceling features as well as listen and talk modes. TWS headsets support multi-point connections and are equipped with MEMS microphones using beamforming technology. Together with the portable charging and storage case, these headphones are said to offer up to 24 hours of total battery life. The headphones have an IPX4 splash-proof rating.

The new Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 headphones feature an in-ear design and are equipped with 5.8mm dynamic drivers. They are equipped with hybrid noise reduction technology, including modes such as Listen Through and Talk, which users can choose according to their environment. The headset is equipped with a MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) microphone and provides two call modes, natural and noise reduction, to ensure speech clarity.
The newly launched TWS headphones are compatible with the Audio-Technica Connect app, which allows users to manage noise cancellation or call modes as well as adjust EQ settings and touch functions. They support Bluetooth 5.1 multipoint connectivity, allowing users to pair two electronic devices with the headphones at the same time. TWS earphones support SBC, AAC and LDAC audio codecs.
Audio-Technica’s ATH-TWX7 headphones are said to offer up to 6.5 hours of battery life with the ANC function enabled, and an additional 20 hours of battery life using the charging case. However, without the ANC feature, the earphones can run for up to 7.5 hours on a single charge, with a claimed total playback time of up to 24 hours. The case has a USB Type-C charging port and supports wireless charging.
Only Audio-Technica’s ATH-TWX7 headphones (not the headphone case) have an IPX4 splash-proof construction. Each earphone weighs 4.7 grams and the charging case weighs 47.5 grams.
